Introducing our 2026-27 season

September 2026 sees us start work on our next season's music. Here's the exciting programme of events:

Our Autumn term concert features parts of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. Given the overtly seasonal nature of the repertoire the concert has been moved to the 5th December, combining with our traditional carol concert. Audience carols accompanied by a full orchestra should be particularly stirring!

In the Spring term, we bring to you Handel’s Israel in Egypt on 20th March – a work of great drama and tremendous fun.

Then, by way of contrast, the Summer concert on 12th June will be dedicated to Brahms’ Requiem, featuring Iain Farrington’s enterprising edition of just eight instruments as accompaniment.

We hope you can join us!
